Christmas Cantata “Hope Has Hands”
Under the direction of our Music Director Chris Williams, the choirs of Simpsonville Methodist and Simpsonville Christian Churches presented “Hope Has Hands” a Christmas Cantata on Dec 17.
Salvation army red kettle - ringing the bell
Barbara and SK are Santa’s helpers ringing the Bell! Thanks to all who helped with the Salvation Army Red Kettle Bell Ringing. We collected a full kettle and it is a blessing to help those who are in need.
CRAFTS AT CRESCENT PLACE
We began a new community outreach program doing crafts with the residents at Crescent Place Assisted Living. This program will continue on Sundays from 1:00-2:00. At our first session we started a fun project making “sock angels” which will be given to the families we will support at Christmas. There are other projects planned for future craft sessions. We had a special time of crafting and fellowship.
